چکیده
Abstract Objective A cost-effective analysis of the laparoscopic total extraperitoneal (TEP) repair and trans- abdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) versus open inguinal hernia is still not well addressed. The aim this study to compare clinical outcomes TEP TAPP for unilateral hernia. Methods This a cost-effectiveness within randomized prospective conducted at Sanchinarro University Hospital. Cases primary, reducible unilaterl were included using simple randomization program. outcome parameters surgical postoperative costs, quality adjusted life years (QALY), incremental cost per QALY gained or effectiveness ratio. Results Between January 2020 2023, 60 patients enrolled in (30 them underwent 30 TAPP). procedure had less early pain (p=0.035). operative time was higher group with respecto (p =0.05). overall compared but without statically significance (883.93s vs 780 p>0,05). mean QALYs 1 year (0.7094) than that associated (0.541) (p=0,038). At willingness-to-pay threshold 20,000 s 30,000 s, there 85.28% 91.44% probability more relative TAPP. Conclusions bilateral appears be

Laparoscopic Repair of Inguinal Hernia TEP versus TAPP.
AIM The purpose of the study was to compare the results of laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair using two different methods: transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) repair and the technique of totally extraperitoneal repair (TEP). METHODS In this retrospective study were included 90 cases of inguinal hernia that underwent for laparoscopic approach of inguinal hernia repair at the Emergency County ...
متن کاملTotal Extraperitoneal Preperitoneal Laparoscopic Hernia Repair Using Spinal Anesthesia
BACKGROUND Laparoscopic herniorrhaphy is a well-debated approach to inguinal hernia repair. Multiple technical and outcome variables have been compared with those of traditional open inguinal hernia repairs. One of these variables is the choice of anesthesia. To date, no reports describe the use of spinal anesthesia for laparoscopic hernia repairs. We present herein a review of our experience w...

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair has become increasingly popular as an alternative to open surgery. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the laparoscopic total extraperitoneal procedure with the use of staple fixation and polypropylene mesh. METHODS A retrospective chart review examined outcomes of 1240 laparoscopic hernia oper...
متن کاملLaparoscopic Extraperitoneal Repair of Amyand's Inguinal Hernia
Amyand's hernia (appendix in the sac of an inguinal hernia) although rare is a fairly well-recognized clinical entity. It is associated with an increased risk of developing appendicitis. Amyand's hernia can be repaired by open or laparoscopic methods. We present the case of a laparoscopic extraperitoneal repair with a potential hazard when repairing this type of hernia in this manner, and we re...

PURPOSE We wanted to measure and compare the patient demographics and perioperative outcomes between patients with incarcerated and patients with non-incarcerated inguinal hernia. METHODS We conducted a retrospective analysis of 945 patients who were scheduled for laparoscopic total extraperitoreal (TEP) repair of inguinal hernia from May 2002 to May 2010. There were 66 patients who had incar...
